Alpha Catch is the fast-paced, physical way to practice letter names and sounds. Kids take turns tossing self-stick balls, catching them with the sticky catcher's mitts, and playing fun phonics games about the letters on each ball. It's a phonemic awareness home run!

My daughter is in kindergarten. She is already able to recognize and write her alphabet. However, she is really enjoying learning to read and these have been a HUGE help with furthering her phonetic skills. We have a lot of fun playing "letter ball," especially when her best friend is visiting. He's still learning to recognize his letters, and this game has really made it fun for him. They are enjoying the competitive part of it. Whoever gets 5 in a row right gets to choose the snack or the next activity! It really has made learning fun for the kids!

There are numerous times when I suggest we play catch (meaning regular catch), and my daughter pipes up with "I'll get the letter balls!" She really ENJOYS learning with these!
