Babymoon

Guest post from: Natalie Walter

My husband and I are on our babymoon. Isn’t that the cutest term ever? We just had our first child 2 weeks ago. My husband and I are both teachers, and we are both on summer vacation. Then, when the school year starts, I’ll stay home with the baby for 10 more weeks. We are having the sweetest time getting to know our son. He sleeps a lot, which is good. We’ve been watching lots of Direct TV Movies and just taking it easy in our little nest. Our Sunday School class at church made a food tree, and we have different friends bringing us dinner every other night for the next 2 weeks. It is so nice to not have to worry about dinner, and it just feels sweet knowing our friends are thinking of us during this time. It feels nurturing, or something. My mom passed away 4 years ago, and I miss her so much now that I am a mom. It helps that my husband is so available and involved, and they we are being nurtured by our church group.

True Blood

Thanks to Wm Rowe

I was watching clear wireless TV the other day and got really excited when I saw a trailer come on for my all time favorite show on HBO. Yes, “True Blood” will be returning in June for its fifth season and I can’t wait. I just started watching “True Blood” two years ago. I caught up by watching the DVDs of the older seasons. I am not one who is much for vampire dramas ( like twilight) but this is totally different. The story takes place in a small backwoods Louisiana town. Vampires live in the open among humans. Of course, there are the other mythical creatureslike warewolves, telepaths, fairies, and shape shifters. The cast is great! The story lines are even better! I have the biggest crush on the vampire ( a thousand year old Viking named Eric) played by Alexander Skarsgard. I think that he is really one of the hottest guys that I have ever seen! I will be watching it for sure when it comes back on in June!

careerbuilder.com

Thanks for the guest post by Donn Schroeder

There are many job posting boards on the internet these days. Which one do you use? There are a few of the big ones that everyone has heard of and then there are plenty of other smaller ones that focus more on niche type jobs. When I am looking for a new job I always use www.careerbuilder.com for my job searches. Careerbuilder is one of the biggest in the industry and has millions of jobs listed on their site. You can search under all different categories and in different cities and mileage ranges. It also has a service where they can enhance your resume or brush it up so that yours will stand out from the competition. One of the best things about careerbuilder.com is that I know most employers use the site to post their jobs. If I go on another smaller site I feel like I might be missing out on a job that I might want to see because they don’t have a large share of the job posting market. So the next time you are in search of a job hop on DSL Internet Panguitch and head over to careerbuilder.com to find your next career.

On Another Planet

Guest post by Jewel Cole

I love going to visit my parents but every time I come back from visiting them I feel like I have been on another planet for a week. They don’t have cable television or internet service so I always feel like I am missing what is going on in the world while I am there. On a whim the other day I did a search for internet service by zip code just to see if there was even service available in their area. Luckily there is! Now I’m thinking about signing them up and giving them my old laptop. I’m not sure how much they will use it but I would love for them to learn how to at least use e-mail. I think they would enjoy going online to read the news and get information about the things that interest them. And I know I would enjoy visiting them more if I felt like I could stay in touch with the real world.
